Years ago, my favorite cousin sent me to her hall closet to get something for her. What I saw amazed me. Sitting there on the shelves were 15 years of bath and body gift baskets. While she appreciated the gifts, it was not feasible at the time.

Due to her son's severe asthma; she could not use scented bath and body products or candles without the threat of an asthmatic episode. So, there her gifts sat, waiting for the time she could use them without worry.

That set me on a mission. I spent a year reading the ingredients labels of soaps, salts, and candles every where I went. - From Dollar General to Neiman Marcus to Whole Foods. It didn't take long for me to find out a few very important things:

• No one was selling unscented bath and body products
• No one was listing ALL of their ingredients **
• Regardless of the price, many of the products had the same ingredients listed in the same order

I decided to make my cousin a bath and body gift basket that she could enjoy in the moment. If there was ever anyone who deserved a few moments of self-care and pampering, it was definitely her!! At first, I used supplies from my local hobby shop. A few years ago, I was lucky enough to meet other cottage industry bath & body manufacturers who suggested a wonderful vendor. I was able to purchase base supplies that were high quality, environmentally sound, safe, and cost effective.

EarthMuther has been in existence for six years now. After much prodding from the friends and family who have enjoyed the products over the years, I am finally sharing my product line with the public.
